TV And Other Things

Lost and Invasion tonight. I'm liking Invasion a lot more than Lost for some reason. Lost is going a little slow for me.

I spent most of the day working on the website and on my TCG posts. I'm hoping to get my site ready to resubmit to the Q*Bee by the end of the week. I've added a lot more content and I'm hoping that it'll be good enough this time. I also need to do some more Pixel Train trading.

Well, I'm off to cross-stitch some before the shows start.

Yay White Sox!!

The White Sox are going to the World Series! Yay!! I'm glad for them! Their manager used to be a Brave, so they're cool in my book. big grin

Charlotte Wreck Fest And Other Things

Goodyear needs to totally do something about these tires! There is no reason why they should be blistering and blowing out like this. Blah! angry, grr

Fall has finally arrived in Upstate South Carolina. It's pretty chilly right now and I'm glad of it. I was thinking it would never cool off. I hate hot weather so fall, winter and early spring are my favorite times of year. smile

I really should be working on the cross-stitch I'm doing for a friend for Christmas, but instead I've been fiddling around with my Pixel Train page while I watched the race. I finished the cross-stitching on the piece I'm making for my grandma and now I've got to do the backstitching, which is tedious but easy.

Friday, October 14th

So...Sleepy....

I am so sleepy. I didn't get to sleep until 6:00 am because we didn't finish with the papers until nearly 5:00. We would've gotten done sooner but we stayed at the drop an extra 30 minutes after everyone else left talking to Trey, the guy who brings the papers. Mom got ticked because one of the other carriers is being a pain wanting preferential treatment. I was a little ticked too, but I think we got everything straightened out though. At least we won't have to sit there for 2 hours on Friday nights anymore.

I got accepted to the Pixel Train yesterday! I'm having a lot of fun with that. I'm still waiting to here back from the Q*Bee. I'm afraid I'm going to get rejected again. I think I'll give it up if I'm rejected this time.

Well, I'd better run for now. I need to shower and get dressed because we're going to run errands.

I just about passed out. I went into my File Manager and all my pictures and stuff were gone. I about flipped out. But apparently it was some kind of server glitch because I logged out and logged back in and everything was back. WHEW!

Oh Well

The Braves lost. But at least it took 19 innings. crying

I didn't see much of the race today because we were watching the ballgame. Congrats to Mark Martin!

I made my first pixel earlier. I think it's kind of cute for a first try!

Almost Race Time

Well, it's almost race time. I hope Michael can do well today but I doubt it since it seems like DEI has given up on him since he's leaving. Oh well, hopefully next year will be better with BDR.

The Braves lost last night. I had a feeling they would. Their pitching is just no where near where it needs to be to win big games. I was just impressed that they won the division with all the rookies.

Now I'm off to watch the race. More after I'm sure! smile

Go Braves!!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Braves win tonight. I don't have much faith in the starter tonight, Jorge Sosa. He's 13-3 but he's not been tested in big game situations. I'm just hoping he can hold it together tonight.

And a big congrats go to the White Sox. Very cool for them to win! smile

I think I've finally gotten everything set up the way I want it to be. smile I really like the way everything turned out, even though I nearly drove myself crazy! LOL Mom laughed her butt off at me last night after I finally got Greymatter installed. I was jumping around whooing. *LOL* It doesn't take much to make me happy.
